What is the heart of the King, even when people continue in disregard for His glory and teachings? He looked on them with compassion, as sheep without a shepherd. In part 2 the analogy changes. Jesus now looks on people as a harvest field that is ripe with people who are ready to come into the kingdom. All that is needed is for Him to send out harvesters to proclaim the good news of the King.
