Are the Beatitudes the new commandments for the Kingdom of God? Are they a checklist of things to do in order to inherit or see God's Kingdom. Pastor Wally tries to persuade from scripture that these are not a list to be kept to obtain God's Kingdom, but rather they are the attitudes that flow out of those who ARE already a part of it. Jesus helps us to examine heart attitudes and shows us the "blessing" is not in keeping the beatitudes. Citizens of the Kingdom are already blessed and that's why these attitudes reveal themselves!
