God does everything He does for His own glory! Jesus died to prove that God was first of all Just and secondly the Justifier. God upholds His own reputation and glory above His love for guilty sinners. The cross of Jesus acomplished both things. It proved God was Just, and it demonstraed His Love for guilty sinners.
