As Jesus reveals the Kingdom through His preaching, teaching, and miraculous works, He is met wit varying resonses. There are at least four responses in this text: Discouragement, Criticism, Excuses, and Indifference. Jesus responds to these responses and uses strong language to challenge His listeners.
